The state Public Records Act, RCW 42.56, requires each state agency to adopt procedures for public records requests. The Department of Early Learning's (DEL) rules are established in the Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 170-01 and describe:
- How to make public records requests from DEL,
- The organizational hierarchy of DEL, and
- How to find specific information like final orders in DEL administrative hearings and other important information.
